حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ، قَالَ: نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ:
لَمَّا غَسَّلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَهَبْتُ لِأَنْظُرَ مَا يَكُونُ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ فَلَمْ أَرَ شَيْئًا، فَقُلْتُ: كَانَ طَيِّبًا حَيًّا وَمَيِّتًا

قال الدارقطني حين سئل عنه قال عبد الواحد بن زياد وصفوان بن عيسى عن معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد قال قال علي وأرسله ابن المبارك وعبد الرزاق عن معمر وكذلك قال صالح بن كيسان والأوزاعي عن الزهري والمرسل أصح
machine translationAl-Dāraquṭnī said, when he was asked about it: ʿAbd al-Wāḥid b. Ziyād and Ṣafwān b. ʿĪsā said, from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, from Saʿīd, who said: ʿAlī said. Ibn al-Mubārak and ʿAbd al-Razzāq transmitted it as a mursal report from Maʿmar, and likewise said Ṣāliḥ b. Kaysān and al-Awzāʿī from al-Zuhrī. The mursal version is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ).
