وَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، نَا رَوْحٌ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، فَإِذَا خَشِيَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصُّبْحَ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً تُوتِرُ لَهُ صَلَاتَهُ

Translation

✧ The night prayer is two by two, and if one of you fears the dawn, he should pray one single rak'ah, which will make his prayer odd-numbered.
