حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ;

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَابَقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ الْمُضَمَّرَةِ مِنَ الْحَفْيَاءِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَمَا لَمْ تُضَمَّرْ مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná
  2. Yaḥyá
  3. ʿUbaydullāh
  4. Nāfiʿ
  5. Ibn ʿUmar

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ held a race between the trained horses from al-Hafya' to Thaniyyat al-Wada', and for those not trained from Thaniyyat al-Wada' to the mosque of Banu Zurayq.
