✧ The crier came to Ibn 'Umar regarding Safiyyah at sunset. He said to the muezzin, 'The prayer,' then said, 'Travel on.' So he traveled until, just before the setting of the sun, when the twilight [appeared], he dismounted and prayed Maghrib. Then he waited until the twilight disappeared, then prayed 'Isha'. Then he said, 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry, he would do the same as I have done.' So on that day and night he covered the distance of three [days' travel].
