حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، نَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا جَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَجَدَّ بِهِ السَّيْرُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  5. Ibn ʿUmar

✧ When he was in a hurry while traveling, he would combine Maghrib and Isha after the twilight had disappeared, and he would say: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a hurry while traveling, he would combine Maghrib and Isha.'
