وَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، نَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، نَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، أَوْ فُلَانِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
تَسَحَّرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَيْلَةً فَجَاءَ عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَاثَةَ فَدَعَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِرَأْسٍ فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ، فَجَاءَ بِلَالٌ يُؤْذِنُهُ لِصَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: رُوَيْدَكَ يَا بِلَالُ، يَفْرُغُ عَلْقَمَةُ مِنْ سَحُورِهِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ took the pre-dawn meal one night, and 'Alqamah b. 'Ulathah came. The Prophet ﷺ called for a head [of an animal] and began to eat from it. Then Bilal came to call him to the Fajr prayer, so the Prophet ﷺ said to him: Easy, O Bilal, until 'Alqamah finishes his pre-dawn meal.
