✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ took my hand and said: "Indeed Musa asked his Lord to purify his mosque through Harun, and I asked my Lord to purify my mosque through you and your descendants." Then he sent to Abu Bakr, saying: "Close your door." He said, "We belong to God," then said: "Hearing and obedience," and he closed his door. Then he sent to 'Umar, then he sent to al-'Abbas with the like of that. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "I did not close your doors and open 'Ali's door; rather, God opened 'Ali's door and closed your doors."
