✧ When the land is fertile, shorten your journeys and give the riding camels their due, for Allah is gentle and loves gentleness. When the land is barren, travel quickly upon it and journey by night, for the land is folded up at night. Beware of the middle of the road, for it is the abode of snakes and the resting place of wild beasts.
