حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، قَالَ: نَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ سَنَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثَةً أَنْ يُشْتَرَى فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِكَيْلٍ، أَوْ تُبَاعَ الثَّمَرَةُ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهَا

✧ He forbade selling palm trees for two or three years, that they be bought while still on the palm trees by measure, or that the fruit be sold until its goodness becomes evident.
