وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: نَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ:

الَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ إِلا اللَّمَمَ، قَالَ: اللَّمَّةُ مِنَ الزِّنَا، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِنْ تَغْفِرِ اللَّهُمَّ تَغْفِرْ جَمَّا وَأَيُّ عَبْدٍ لَكَ لَا أَلَمَّا

Translation

✧ 'Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities except al-lamam.' He said: 'Al-lammah is a minor instance of zina.' And Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If You forgive, O Allah, You forgive abundantly; and which servant of Yours does not commit lammam?'
