حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ، قَالَ: نَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ؓ، قَالَ:

جَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ وَهُوَ مُقِيمٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ خَوْفٍ، لِكَيْ لَا يُحْرِجَ أُمَّتَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined between Ẓuhr and ʿAṣr, and Maghrib and ʿIshāʾ, while he was residing in Madinah, without fear, so as not to place his ummah in difficulty.
