حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ بِنْتِ وَهْبِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ وَهْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:
سَأَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ جِبْرِيلَ أَنْ يَرَاهُ فِي صُورَتِهِ قَالَ: ادْعُ رَبَّكَ، فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ فَطَلَعَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَشْرِقِ فَجَعَلَ يَرْتَفِعُ وَيَسِيرُ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ صَعِقَ فَأَتَاهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ asked Jibril to show himself in his true form. He said: 'Call upon your Lord.' So he called upon his Lord, and he appeared to him from the direction of the east, and he began to rise and move. When he saw him, he fell unconscious, and then he came to him.
