حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: نَا أَبِي، قَالَ: نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: نَا خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ يَنْهَى رَبَّ النَّخْلِ أَنْ يَتَدَيَّنَ فِي ثَمَرَةِ نَخْلِهِ حَتَّى يُؤْكَلَ مِنْ ثَمَرِهَا؛ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَتَدَيَّنَ بِدَيْنٍ كَثِيرٍ، ثُمَّ تَفْسُدُ الثَّمَرَةُ، وَكَانَ يَنْهَى رَبَّ الزَّرْعِ أَنْ لَا يَدَّانَ فِي زَرْعِهِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْحَصَادَ

✧ He used to forbid the owner of palm trees from borrowing against the fruit of his palm trees until some of its fruit could be eaten, for fear that he might incur a large debt and then the fruit would spoil. And he used to forbid the owner of crops from borrowing against his crops until the harvest was ready.
