وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَنَا:

" إِنَّ اسْمَ الرَّجُلِ الْكَرْمُ مِنْ أَجْلِ مَا كَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى الْخَلِيقَةِ إِنَّكُمْ تَدْعُونَ الْعِنَبَ، وَإِنَّمَا اسْمُهُ الْجَوْهَرُ هُوَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ الْكَرْمُ

Translation

✧ “The name of the man is al-karm (generosity), because of what God has honored him with over creation. You call the grapevine karm, but its name is al-jawhar (essence); it is the man who is al-karm.”
