حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ - ﷺ

كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِقِرَى الضَّيْفِ، وَنَهَى أَنْ نَحْتَلِبَ مَاشِيَةَ الرَّجُلِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ وَيَقُولُ: " إِنَّمَا أَلْبَانُهَا كَمَا فِي جِفَانِكُمْ " - أَوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا - " لَيْسَ أَحَدُهَا بِأَحَلَّ مِنَ الْآخَرِ

✧ He used to enjoin entertaining guests, and he forbade us to milk a man's livestock except with his permission. And he would say: "Its milk is just like what is in your bowls" — or a word similar to it — "one of them is not more lawful than the other."
