حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: نَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، قَالَ: نَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
عُرِضَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَ عَرَضَاتٍ، قَالَ: فَيَرَوْنَ، قَالَ: فَلَا أَدْرِي فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ أَنَّ قِرَاءَتَنَا هِيَ الْعَرْضَةُ الْآخِرَةُ
Translation

✧ The Quran was presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ three times. He said: 'They hold that'—he said—'I do not know whether in this hadith or another that our recitation is the final presentation.'
