حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ بُرَيْدَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ - ؓ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَسِيرُ إِذْ سَمِعَ لَغَطًا، فَقَالَ: " مَا هَذَا الصَّوْتُ ؟ " قَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، قَوْمٌ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ يَشْرَبُونَهُ، فَبَعَثَ إِلَى الْقَوْمِ فَدَعَاهُمْ، فَقَالَ: لَا تَشْرَبُوا إِلَّا مَا أَوْكَيْتُمْ - ثُمَّ قَالَ: - اشْرَبُوا، وَكُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was traveling, he heard noise. He said: "What is this sound?" They said: "O Prophet of Allah, a people have a drink they are consuming." He sent for the people and called them, then said: "Do not drink except what you have sealed." Then he said: "Drink, but every intoxicant is forbidden."
