حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: نَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، قَالَ: نَا بَشِيرُ بْنُ الْمُهَاجِرِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" تَعَلَّمُوا الْبَقَرَةَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَجِيئَانِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ غَيَايَتَانِ أَوْ فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافَّ يُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا، تَعَلَّمُوا الْبَقَرَةَ فَإِنَّ أَخْذَهَا بَرَكَةٌ، وَتَرْكَهَا حَسْرَةٌ، وَلَا تَسْتَطِيعُهَا الْبَطَلَةُ
Translation

✧ "Learn Surat al-Baqarah and Surat Al Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds, or two canopies, or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for their companion. Learn Surat al-Baqarah, for taking it is a blessing, leaving it is a regret, and the sorcerers cannot overcome it."
