✧ Mu'adh b. Jabal led his companions in Isha prayer and recited "The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split" (al-Qamar). A man prayed and left, so Mu'adh spoke harshly. The man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complaining that he had been working in his date-palm grove. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Recite in them (the prayers) with 'By the sun and its brightness' (al-Shams) and similar surahs."
