✧ A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the times of prayer. He prayed Zuhr when the sun had declined, prayed 'Asr when the shadow of every object was equal to it, prayed Maghrib when the sun had set, prayed 'Isha' when the twilight had disappeared, and prayed Fajr when dawn broke. Then he prayed Zuhr when the shadow of every object was equal to it, 'Asr when the shadow of every object was twice its length, Maghrib when the sun had set at its time from yesterday, 'Isha' after it had become dark, and Fajr when it had brightened. Then he said: 'Where is the one who asked about the times of prayer? Between these two is a time.'
