✧ Uthman sat on the benches and we sat with him. When the mu'adhdhin came, he called for water about a mudd, and performed wudu. Then he said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform wudu like this wudu of mine.' Then he said: 'Whoever performs wudu like my wudu, then stands and prays Zuhr, he will be forgiven for what is between it and Asr prayer. And whoever prays Asr, he will be forgiven for what is between it and Maghrib prayer. And whoever prays Maghrib, he will be forgiven for what is between it and Isha prayer. And whoever prays Isha, he will be forgiven for what is between it and Fajr prayer—or he said Subh prayer. Then if he gets up, performs wudu, and prays, he will be forgiven for what is between it and Zuhr. These are the good deeds that remove the evil deeds.' They said: 'These are the good deeds. So what are the enduring righteous deeds?' Uthman said: 'They are: La ilaha illa Allah, Subhan Allah wa bi-hamdih, Allahu Akbar, Al-hamdu lillah, and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.'
