وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: نَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ -:

" مَا ابْتُلِيَ عَبْدٌ بَعْدَ ذَهَابِ دِينِهِ بِأَشَدَّ مِنْ بَصَرِهِ، وَمَنِ ابْتُلِيَ بِبَصَرِهِ، فَصَبَرَ حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللهَ لَقِيَ اللهَ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - وَلَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِ

✧ A servant is not tested, after the loss of his religion, with anything more severe than his eyesight. Whoever is tested with his eyesight and remains patient until he meets Allah, he will meet Allah — Blessed and Exalted is He — and there will be no reckoning upon him.
