Musnad al-Bazzar 4296

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ: نَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" أَلَا تَصُفُّونَ كَمَا تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهَا ؟ " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَيْفَ تَصُفُّ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ؟ قَالَ: " يُتِمُّونَ الصُّفُوفَ الْمُقَدَّمَةَ، وَيَتَرَاصُّونَ فِي الصَّفِّ

✧ "Will you not form rows as the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?" They said: "O Messenger of God, how do the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?" He said: "They complete the front rows and stand close together in the row."
