4194 4188 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ:
نَا أَبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ ؓ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ. وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْ وَجْهٍ مُتَّصِلٍ عَنْهُ بِأَحْسَنَ مِنْ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى حَدِيثَ أَيُّوبَ إِلَّا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَلَا رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبَّادٍ إِلَّا رَيْحَانُ، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى حَدِيثَ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ إِلَّا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبَانَ
Translation
Chain of narrators
- Yaḥyá b. Muḥammad b. al-Sakan
- Isḥāq b. Idrīs
✧ Aban narrated to us, from Yahya b. Abi Kathir, from Abu Qilabah, from Abu Asma', from Thawban ؓ from the Prophet ﷺ with something similar. We do not know this hadith from Thawban to be narrated from the Prophet ﷺ through a connected chain from him better than this isnad, and we do not know anyone who narrated the hadith of Ayyub except Abbad b. Mansur, and no one narrated it from Abbad except Rayhan, and we do not know anyone who narrated the hadith of Yahya b. Abi Kathir except Ishaq b. Idris from Aban.
