machine translationWe do not know this hadith to be narrated with this wording from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except with this chain of transmission, from Abū al-Dardāʾ, from him. Something like his words has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in other wording, which we will mention in its place, God willing. Yazīd b. Sinān al-Ruhāwī: people have narrated from him. As for Abū ʿUbayd Allāh, he is not known (ghayr maʿrūf). The rest of the chain after him is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
