✧ Abdullah b. al-Samit, from Abu Dharr, from the Prophet ﷺ

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: نَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ بُدَيْلٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ضَرَبَ فَخِذَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ: كَيْفَ أَنْتَ إِذَا بَقِيتَ فِي قَوْمٍ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ قَالَ: " فَصَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا إِنْ كُنْتَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى تُقَامَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ struck his thigh and then said: "How will you be when you remain among a people who delay the prayer?" He said: "Pray the prayer at its proper time, and if you are in the mosque until the prayer is established, then pray with them."
