حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَحَوْثَرَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، قَالُوا: نَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، وَشِبْلِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ تَزْنِي قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحْصَنَ قَالَ: إِذَا زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a slave woman who commits adultery before she is married. He said: If she commits adultery, flog her; then if she commits adultery, flog her; then if she commits adultery, flog her; then if she commits adultery, sell her, even for a rope of hair.
