حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى قَالَ: نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ رَبَاحٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو السَّوَّارِ الْعَدَوِيُّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ؓ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
" الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ قَالَ بُشَيْرُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ إِنَّا نَجِدُ فِي بَعْضِ الْكُتُبِ أَنَّ مِنْهُ ضَعْفًا وَمِنْهُ وَقَارًا فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرْتُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَتُحَدِّثُنِي عَنِ الْكُتُبِ
Translation

✧ Modesty is all good. Bushayr b. Ka‘b said, “We find in some of the scriptures that part of it is weakness and part of it is dignity.” He replied, “I am reporting to you from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and you are telling me about the scriptures?”
