3436 3440 - أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، قَالَ:

أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ. وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، وَلَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا سَمَّى الرَّجُلَ غَيْرَ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Aḥmad b. Abān

✧ Sufyan informed us, from 'Amr b. Dinar, from Nafi' b. Jubayr, from a man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, with something similar. We do not know this hadith to be narrated from Jubayr b. Mut'im except through this route, and we do not know anyone who named the man other than Hammad b. Salamah.
