✧ The world will not come to an end until there is a garrison of Muslims at a place called Būlān, fighting the Banū al-Aṣfar, striving in the path of Allah, not deterred by the blame of any blamer, until Allah grants them victory over Constantinople and Rome through glorification and magnification, and its fortress is demolished, and they divide the wealth by shields.” He said: “Then a crier will cry out, ‘O people of Islam, the Masīḥ al-Dajjāl has appeared in your lands and homes.’ They will say, ‘Who is this crier?’ but they will not know who he is. They will send a scouting party to see whether it is the Masīḥ. They will return to them and say, ‘We saw nothing and heard nothing.’ They will say, ‘By Allah, the crier cried out only from heaven or from the earth. Come, let us all go out. If the Masīḥ is there, we will fight him until Allah judges between us and him, and He is the best of judges. If it is something else, then it is your lands, your armies, and your clans to which you have returned.’”
