حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ قَالَ: نَا هَارُونُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ هَارُونَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ الْجَرْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ:

دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ؓ وَنَحْنُ فِي الرَّوْضَةِ فَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْأَعْوَادِ عَامَ أَوَّلَ: مَا أُعْطِيَ الْعَبْدُ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ حُسْنِ الْيَقِينِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ، فَاسْأَلُوا اللهَ حُسْنَ الْيَقِينِ وَالْعَافِيَةَ

✧ Abu Bakr ؓ entered upon us while we were in the Rawdah, ascended the minbar, praised and extolled Allah, then said: O people, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on these planks last year: "No servant has been given anything better than excellent certainty and well-being, so ask Allah for excellent certainty and well-being."
