2966 2964 - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ:

أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، وَهِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ. وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَحَدِيثُ حُذَيْفَةَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

Translation

✧ Khalid al-Hadhha and Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad b. Sirin, from Abu 'Ubaydah b. Hudhayfa, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ something similar. This hadith was narrated by Abd al-Warith, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, and the hadith of Hudhayfa is more authentic than the hadith of Abu Hurayrah.
