✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night of al-'Aqabah, while 'Ammar was leading him and I was driving from behind, when some riding camels presented themselves, wanting the Messenger of Allah. 'Ammar ؓ struck their faces, and behold, there were masked men, twelve men. When they passed by, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What did the people intend?" I said: "They intended to startle the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "Do you recognize them?" I said: "Yes."
