حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبِي قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بَهْدَلَةَ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

" مَا بَيْنَ نَاحِيَتَيْ حَوْضِي مَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ وَمُضَرَ أَوْ أَكْثَرُ، آنِيَتُهُ عَدَدُ أَوْ مِثْلُ عَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ أَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، وَأَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ، وَأَطْيَبُ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ مَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْهُ شَرْبَةً لَمْ يَظْمَأْ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا

✧ "The distance between the two ends of my basin is the distance between Aylah and Mudar, or more. Its vessels are as numerous as, or like the number of, the stars of the sky. It is sweeter than honey, whiter than milk, and more fragrant than the scent of musk. Whoever drinks a drink from it will never thirst thereafter."
