حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْكُوفِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ الْغَفَّارِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ قَالَ:
" الْمُنَافِقُونَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِينَ بَيْنَكُمْ أَشَرُّ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ " فَقُلْنَا: وَكَيْفَ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: " أُولَئِكَ أَسَرُّوا نِفَاقَهُمْ، وَإِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ أَعْلَنُوهُ

✧ The hypocrites among you today are worse than the hypocrites who were during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We said: How is that? He said: Those concealed their hypocrisy, but these have made it public.
