حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ؓ قَالَ:

" كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَأَتَى سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا، فَذَهَبْتُ لِأَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ، فَدَعَانِي حَتَّى كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَقِبَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ

Translation

✧ "I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he came to a people's garbage dump and urinated standing. I went to move away from him, but he called me until I was at his heels. Then he performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks."
