حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرِيبٍ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا أَقْنَاءٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ وَإِذَا فِيهَا حَشَفٌ فَجَعَلَ يَطْعَنُهُ بِقَضِيبٍ فِي يَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ صَاحِبَ هَذَا يَأْكُلُ أَوْ يَأْخُذُ حَشَفًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque and found clusters of dates hanging, and among them were inferior dates. He began poking at them with a stick in his hand, saying: 'The owner of this will eat or receive inferior dates on the Day of Resurrection.'
