✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him. He said: "'Awf?" I said: "Yes." I said: "May I enter?" He said: "Yes." I said: "All of me or some of me?" He said: "All of you." Then he said: "Count, O 'Awf, six things before the Hour: the first of them is my death." He said: "So I wept until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to quiet me. One. The second is the conquest of Bayt al-Maqdis. Two. The third is a plague that will be among my Ummah, taking them like the qa'as of sheep. Three. The fourth is a tribulation that will occur among my Ummah. Four." I said: "Four." "The fifth is that wealth will overflow and become abundant, until a man is given a hundred and he is displeased with it. Five. The sixth is a truce between you and the Banu al-Asfar. They will gather against you under eighty banners." I said: "What is a banner?" He said: "A banner, under each banner twelve thousand. The camp of the Muslims on that day will be in a city called al-Ghuta, in a city called Dimashq."
