حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا نُصَيْرُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الصَّلْتُ الدَّهَّانُ، عَنْ جَاثِمَةَ بْنِ رِئَابٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ سَلْمَانَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا فَقَالَ: دَعِ الْقِسِّيسِينَ فِي الْبِيَعِ وَالْخِرَبِ، أَقْرَأَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ( ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ صِدِّيقِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا )
Translation

✧ I asked Salman about the statement of Allah, Blessed and Exalted, 'That is because among them are qissisun and ruhban' (Quran 5:82). He said: Leave the qissisun in the churches and ruins. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited to me: 'That is because among them are siddiqun and ruhban.'
