حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ ؓ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
يَجِيءُ الرَّجُلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ مَا يَظُنُّ أَنْ يَنْجُوَ بِهَا فَلَا يَزَالُ يَقُومُ رَجُلٌ قَدْ ظَلَمَهُ مَظْلَمَةً، فَيُؤْخَذُ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ، فَيُعْطَى الْمَظْلُومُ، حَتَّى لَا تَبْقَى لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ، ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ مَنْ قَدْ ظَلَمَهُ، وَلَمْ يَبْقَ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ شَيْءٌ، فَيُؤْخَذُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ الْمَظْلُومِ فَتُوضَعُ عَلَى سَيِّئَاتِهِ

✧ A man will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds that he thinks will save him, but a man whom he wronged will keep standing up, and it will be taken from his good deeds and given to the wronged one, until no good deed remains for him. Then someone whom he wronged will come while none of his good deeds remain, and it will be taken from the wronged one's evil deeds and placed upon his evil deeds.
