✧ A group of notables from Quraysh passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while with him were Suhayb, Bilal, Ammar, Khabbab, and others like them from the weak Muslims. They said, 'O Muhammad, drive them away. Are you pleased with these from your people? Are we to be followers of those whom Allah has favored among us? Perhaps if you drive them away we will come to you.' He said, 'Then this verse was revealed: And warn with it those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord; for them there is no protector or intercessor besides Him, that they may become righteous. And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His face. Not upon you is anything of their account, and not upon them is anything of your account. Were you to drive them away, you would be of the wrongdoers.'
