✧ What b. 'Umar narrated from 'Umar b. al-Khattab, ᴿᴬ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْفَحَّامُ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ قَالَا: نَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَقِيَامِي فِيكُمْ فَقَالَ: أَحْسِنُوا إِلَى أَصْحَابِي، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، مَنْ أَحَبَّ بُحْبُوحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَلْزَمِ الْجَمَاعَةَ، وَمَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us as I am standing among you and said: 'Be good to my Companions, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Whoever loves the center of Paradise, let him adhere to the community. And whoever is pleased by his good deed and troubled by his evil deed is a believer.'
