2007 وَإِنَّمَا حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ الْفَضْلُ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِهَذَا الْكَلَامِ. قَالَ شَرِيكٌ: فَحَدَّثَنِي مُجَالِدٌ، قَالَ:

فَحَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ. وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى مُجَالِدٌ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدِيثًا مُسْنَدًا إِلَّا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَلَا رَوَاهُ عَنْهُ إِلَّا شَرِيكٌ

✧ Al-Qasim narrated to me, from his father, from 'Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ, something similar. We do not know that Mujalid narrated from al-Qasim any hadith with a full chain except this hadith, and no one narrated it from him except Sharik.
