✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us this supplication: 'O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is executed and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name by which You have named Yourself, or which You have revealed in Your Book, or which You have taught to any of Your creation, or which You have kept exclusively to Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sadness, and the departure of my anxiety.' No one says this except that Allah removes his anxiety and replaces his sadness with joy. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it is fitting for us to learn these words.' He said, 'Yes, it is fitting for the one who hears them to learn them.'
