✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was praying near the House while a group of Quraysh were sitting, having slaughtered a camel. He said—I think it was Abu Jahl—: 'Which of you will take this stomach contents with its blood, then wait until Muhammad places his face in prostration and put it on his back?' 'Abdullah said: The most wretched of them went and took the stomach contents. When he [the Prophet] fell prostrate, he placed it on his back. Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of God ﷺ, was told, and she was a young girl. She came running and removed it from his back. When he finished his prayer, he said: 'O God, [I invoke] You against Quraysh. O God, [I invoke] You against Abu Jahl b. Hisham, Shaybah b. Rabi'ah, 'Utbah b. Rabi'ah, and 'Uqbah b. Abi Mu'ayt'—until he counted seven from Quraysh. 'Abdullah said: By Him who sent down the Book upon him, I saw them on the day of Badr in a single well.
