✧ The first hadith of Alqamah, from Abdullah b. Mas'ud, from the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْفُرَاتِ الْقَزَّازُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ:
أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَبَرَّزَ قَالَ: ائْتِنِي بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ، فَالْتَمَسْتُ فَوَجَدْتُ حَجَرَيْنِ وَرَوْثَةً، فَأَمْسَكَ الْحَجَرَيْنِ وَطَرَحَ الرَّوْثَةَ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا رِكْسٌ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ wanted to relieve himself. He said: "Bring me three stones." So I searched and found two stones and a piece of dung. He kept the two stones and threw away the dung, saying: "It is filth."
