حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: نَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ ثَقِيفَ طَلَّقَ نِسَاءَهُ وَأَعْتَقَ مَمْلُوكَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ: لَتُرْجِعَنَّ مَالَكَ وَنِسَاءَكَ، وَإِلَّا فَإِنْ مُتَّ لَأَرْجُمَنَّ قَبْرَكَ كَمَا رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ قَبْرَ أَبِي رِغَالٍ

✧ A man from Thaqif divorced his wives and freed his slave. 'Umar said to him: 'You must take back your wealth and your wives, or if you die, I will stone your grave just as the Messenger of Allah stoned the grave of Abu Righal.'
