حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْكَرَابِيسِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ:

قَالَ لِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ: قَدْ كُنْتَ تَكْتُبُ الْوَحْيَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَاجْمَعِ الْقُرْآنَ

Translation

✧ Abu Bakr said to me: 'You used to write down the revelation for the Messenger of God ﷺ, so compile the Quran.'
