machine translationYūnus b. ʿUbayd narrates it from Ziyād b. Jubayr, and there is disagreement about it from him. Al-Thawrī narrated it from Yūnus b. ʿUbayd, from Ziyād, from Saʿd. Hāshim transmitted it as a mursal report from Yūnus, from Ziyād, that the Prophet ﷺ sent Saʿd to collect the charity (ṣadaqah), the ḥadīth. It is said that this Saʿd was a man from the Anṣār and not Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ, and this is more correct (aṣaḥḥ), God willing, may He be exalted."
in مسند البزار, p. 1257 - al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī
