✧ Sa'd said, mentioning the Prophet ﷺ: 'I saw him on the day of the Trench laughing until his molars showed.' He said: I said, 'How?' He said: 'There was a man with a shield, and Sa'd was an archer. He kept saying such and such with the shield, covering his forehead. Sa'd drew an arrow for him, and when he raised his head, he shot him. It did not miss this from him, meaning his forehead, and he fell over, raising his leg. The Prophet ﷺ laughed until his molars showed.' He said: I said, 'Why did he laugh?' He said: 'At the man's action.'
